REFUND POLICY
Protecting Pre-Paid Fees by students
Builders Institute does not collect more than $1500 in pre-paid fees (fees in advance) from Students at any time for any course service before commencing the course
FEES INFORMATION
Builders Institute requires individual students to pay fees (this requirement does not apply if you contract with a company to deliver training to their employees, paid for by that company), provide fee information prior to enrolment or commencement of training/assessment (whichever is earliest) about:
- all fees payable to Builders Institute, clearly describing all costs involved with the course
- The fee is the breakdown of the training and the course materials, resources provided
- how and when fees must be paid
- how to request a refund
- Fees Schedule
Builders Institute makes every effort to ensure students are aware of course fees and the ongoing financial commitment required to ensure the successful completion of courses. Builders Institute reserves the right to review enrolment and may advise the student to reconsider. If enrolment has proceeded at the student’s request, then the decision’s responsibility is solely with the student.
Builders Institute behaves honestly and in a way that upholds the objects and values of the vocational training system by:
- Setting tuition fees in accordance with contractual requirements.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of Student enrolments, fees and Student participation.
Outstanding Student Fees
Failure to make payments as agreed will result in all recovery costs being the responsibility of the Student and become due to Builders Institute.
The qualification will not be issued to any student that has not paid their fees in full

Refund
Builders Institute provides students with a fair and equitable refund policy. This policy applies to all staff employed by or contracted to Builders Institute and responsible for managing student fees and students.
Refund information and arrangements are made available to clients prior to enrolment through:
- Builders Institute’s relevant handbook for each stakeholder group;
- As a part of the Students Enrolment Form completed with the client prior to enrolment; and
- Scheduled of Fees
Builders Institute has publicly published on Student handbook and makes Students aware of this Refund policy before enrolment.
If student choose to withdraw from your course within 14 days of your enrolment, enrolment fees is refundable. Notice of application to withdraw must be received in writing by Builders Institute within 14 days of the date of enrolment.

Outside of the 14 days period, enrolment fees is non-refundable, student eligibility for a refund and the amount of refund (if any), will be determined according to the services rendered and materials provided as at the date of your written request to withdraw.

Where there is an instance of Builders Institute default due to unforeseen circumstances, Builders Institute will endeavour arrange for another course, or part of a course, to be provided to student at no (extra) cost as an alternative to a refund. Where the student agrees to this arrangement, Builders Institute will not refund fees paid.
If Builders Institute is at default and cannot deliver the enrolled course, e.g. business closure, then refunds owed to the student will be calculated according to the scheduled of fees and paid to the student.
