This program is aimed at providing a deeper understanding of the Owner Builder application process.
The program will be explained in full, describing each schedule and clause that impacts your building & construction projects.
Through a mix of theory and template, including:
- Prepare you for and assist you during the application process
- Your obligations and legal obligations
- Understand your Owner Builder Insurance
- Work Health and safety for your project
- Step-by-step manage subcontractor effectively

Yes. If youโre building or renovation work is valued over $10,000, it requires you to hold an NSW Owner-Builder Permit.
You must complete the ๐ ๐ฆ๐๐ง๐๐๐ญ๐จ๐ซ๐ฒ ๐๐ฐ๐ง๐๐ซ-๐๐ฎ๐ข๐ฅ๐๐๐ซ training NSW units required by NSW Fair Trading, if your project is valued at $๐๐,๐๐๐ ๐จ๐ซ ๐ฆ๐จ๐ซ๐.
You must also hold a current White Card.
List of 5 mandatory units:
1. ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ Apply WHS requirements, policies and procedures in the construction industry (current), or ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ Apply OHS, requirements, policies and procedures in the construction industry, and
2. ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ (current) Read and interpret plans and specifications, or ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐/๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐, and
3. ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ (current) Undertake basic estimation and costing, or ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ , and
4. ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ (current) Plan and organise work, or ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐/๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ , and
5. ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ (current) Conduct workplace communication, or ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐/๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐.
For Owner Builder Permit in Victoria, the student needs a White Card & E- assessment, BI already have the E-assessment in LMS.
