CPCWHS1001 Prepare to work safely in the construction industry (White Card)

Anyone working or planning to enter the construction industry must complete a General Construction Induction course and obtain a White Card, which is mandatory across the sector.

This Construction Induction training covers awareness and knowledge of:

  • the basic principles of work, health and safety
  • preventing workplace injury
  • workplace injury management
  • identifying procedures for responding to potential incidents and emergencies
  • identifying and reporting common construction hazards,
  • understanding basic risk control measures
  • selecting and fitting personal protective equipment (PPE) used for construction work.

Students who successfully complete this nationally accredited training will be issued

  • Statement of Attainment- CPCCWHS1001 Work safely in the construction industry; and

White Card from:

  • Worksafe Victoria; or
  • SafeWork NSW

  • Face to face classroom
